Sometimes in the Hard
Sometimes it’s in the hard things That we find where we truly are Even when we want to crawl away Lick our wounds and hide our scars But as someone told me the other day Darkness cannot hide When the light of the Savior Shines brightly through the night Doesn’t mean it’s easy Oh it hurts, it stings But we’re not alone in this That’s why he gave us voices to sing Not always in joyful celebration Sometimes just whispering soft his name, In those still, soft moments That’s when he can change Our insides Our doubts, our fears And help wipe away the tears That stain our face. 09/01/26 clc
