Cup of coffee

Quiet morning

Walk out to sunshine

My insides warming 

From the colors of the world

The birds that sing

Inside my heart

Maybe I hear a melody?


The hope of man

Falls right and left

But you provide

A love that lasts 

I listen to the messages you bring

Inside my spirit

Your voice rings…


Truth

Hope 

Love

All the above…


I find in You.


As I linger 

In this moment

Think of the blessings 

You place before us

The waking of the world

The rising sun

A hand to hold

I smile and move on…
