Still, still waters

Testify

of the way your love

Quiets

the storms in my life


Restless yearnings 

are made complete

When I lay them 

fully at your feet


Find the lonely days 

begin to open up like spring

Filling with your presence

I hold fast to what you bring


The dark that settles 

as my spirit seeks rest

Covers like a blanket

held warm in your tenderness


Awakening 

Dawn not quite ready 

to be seen

I know that you are with me

As my heart simply

brings
