A simple hymn

Reminds my soul

Where my eyes

Need often go

Look toward Heaven

Keep the end in sight

As I lay

In bed tonight

Fear fades before me

I stop and pray

My soul opens

Lord, show me the way


Turn my eyes to you

Give me rest

My hope, renew


The song reminds me

At morning light 

New day dawning

Keep my sight

Upon the path

You’d have me on

Let all else fade

As I move on,
