Where I lay my head

When I’ve walked another day

Remind myself 

of the gifts you bring

My hope is in you

Above it all

I know you see me through

The days when the sun shines bright

And when storm clouds overcome

You show all your might

In the wake, I know

You come

To rescue my spirit

Save me from myself

When I am wrapped in worry 

You are my great help


Please don’t let me forget

All the wonders you behold

And remind me of when

I was broken

And you reached down

To hold


Shaking 

You gave comfort

Fallen

You picked me up

Dead in my spirit

You came

“I am enough”


Hold me close

With your love

Lord let me not forget
