Hold Me

Hold me when I’m quaking 

When the whole damn world is shaking

When the storms rise 

My spirit shudders

My hopes seem lost

Help me utter 

This simple prayer


“Dear God,

Help me,

Love me,

Keep me aware

of you”


That’s all I know to do.
