Hold me

When my spirit

Seems to flail against the wind

When my insides

Seem so shaken

And I don’t know where to begin


Help me see 

Your sunlight

Amidst a day full of pouring rain

Reminding me

Of the Hope

You gave, knowing I’ll never be the same

Again

You are comfort

You are my friend


Take me

To the River

That never ceases to flow

So I can drink 

And remember

How you never let me go

Even when

I fought you

You wouldn’t relent


Help me

To Praise you

Though I know I often fail

To let you know 

I can’t do this

Without your constant help 

I am aware

You are always there


That’s where 

I hope to dwell


In You.
