Cradle Me

Cradle me in the moments

When my strength is all but gone

Help me hear the chorus

Of your ever present song

Some days it rises gently

Like the early morning fog

Others it bellows forth

With the radiance of the dawn

I just ask to hear

As you patiently appear

I may not recognize you

Chirping from the waiting trees

As the birds announce your presence

Help me stop and receive

More of the wonders

That I often cannot see

Found in each day

If I’ll only stop and breathe

Cradle my insecurities

Take my doubt and let it die

Upon the hope you carry

And as I look toward the morning light

I lift my eyes

To the new day

And find

Your arms

Welcoming me home

In every moment

I’m never alone

Cradle me.
