The Road

Sometimes it’s lonely

Walking down that road 

Full of all the decisions 

Things we don’t really know 

Bewildered and restless 

Often caught in our own heads 

Stopped at a crossroads 

Looking up ahead


Never know

Where this road will go…


Keep on moving 

One step at a time 

Some days it seems like 

there are others,

Other days you feel left behind 


I don’t know your journey 

But the destination is up ahead 

And I just have to keep on 

Moving, and find my steps 


One at a time


One at a time

Until we find that

Finish line.
