We need You

in this dry and dusty land

We need You 

as we drown within our sin

We fall down

on our knees, we crawl

We are lost -

hear us when we call


We try

to take this life alone

Often thinking

We can stand through it all

(But we can’t)


We are cowards

We are fallen -

We remain

unable to make it

through a day
