This Real

Bitter cold

or is it I’m just old

Bones chatter,

Body shakes

Find my senses 

aren’t quite awake

But they do feel

Waking to the all too real

Stiffness in my neck

Tight muscles of my back

Yet I am alive

and I take a breathe

Not holding back…


I feel


there’s more to experience 

in this Real.
