Your Breath…

Your breath, a whisper

Your song, the mighty wind

Your majesty, the mountains

Your hope, my soul rends

I am so small here

You light up the skies

With first rays of morning

Eclipsing the night

You bring peace

Amidst the tempest’s wake

I must relent

As my body shivers and shakes

Your call, like birdsong

Clear to my ears

I hold fast

Knowing all of my fears

Subside

Once I open

Tear stained eyes

And realize

You are Here.

“The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.”

Psalms‬ ‭145‬:‭18‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

““Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “Return to Me with all your heart, And with fasting, weeping and mourning; And rend your heart and not your garments.” Now return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness And relenting of evil.”

Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬
