Finding Peace

Struggling 

Early morning

Sitting listening

To the sounds 

Life starts around me

Yet, often I am found

Restless

My spirit lacking hope

I know that I am 

Not alone


There are many 

who share my feelings 

Those who wrestle

With this world

Even when it’s all silent

It’s the battles in my head

That press into the peace

That you bring

Help me find it now

I’m struggling 


Voices

Of hope 

From those who share

This fight

Walking on

All seeking the light

That is shared
