Another Silent Night

Silent night

on Christmas Eve

Soul, it sings

a mournful melody

Emotions worn

and spirits wain

Soon it will be

Christmas Day


But as so many

see the joy - 

I’m struggling inside

to keep the hope

I know you bring

Keep on trying

but lonely seems 

to be

My place tonight
