One More Day

 One more day

When I thought there weren’t many

A little hope

Amidst life’s frenzy 

That still small voice

Still keeps calling

I hear it clearly

Amongst all the noise

That keeps me here

It resonates

Crystal clear 


What comes next?

Don’t always know

Yet I wake up,

I still go

One step at a time 

Remembering not too long ago 

When my heart 

Felt it couldn’t grow

Yet here I am


I stand


One more day.
