Prayer for Help

Singing hallelujah

When there’s no voice left to sing 

Learning how to praise you

When my spirit’s tired and weak

Open up my eyes

When the darkness is all I see

Finding how to stand

When I can’t feel my feet 


Open my heart

When I just want to close it all down


Taking in the morning

When I just want to go back to bed

Spirit’s tired of being tired

Is this all up in my head?

Wanting to believe you

When I shake as if I’m cold

Facing this morning

I feel so f*cking old


Help me be

Open

Help me see…
