Children, listen closely

When the night has fallen fast

In your hurting, in your wanting

There is hope, look to the path

That opens

One step before you

Then another as you come and rend 

Your hearts before the savior

He will touch and mend

All the hurting

Find peace amidst the storms

That push at you and pull you

Find strength within his arms

And as others seem to waiver
