One Little Sheep

Take these tears

Flowing down my cheeks

Hold my fears

As I wail and weep

Where are you, God?


My body weary

I’ve tried to cast

All my anxieties

But I just can’t last

Where are you, God?


Hope seems faint

Like cloud covered earth

And all I want

Is to hear your words

Where are you, God?

You’re in the silence

I just have to stop

Remind myself

I’m never lost

And when I wake

When I rise from sleep

You still cover me

Your love keeps

Me whole 


My feelings even

Like the storm you calmed

Inside settles

I’m never on my own
