Take this Morning


Take this morning

My weary body 

Tearful yawns

All I have is the hope

You bring 

Amidst the storms

Inside my being

It’s not that I’m sinking now

But I know my spirit yearns

For the peace 

Only you provide


Lord, stay close beside

Me now
